Google Maps 5.7 for Android with Transit Navigation

There are several new features in the latest version of Google Maps for devices running Android, the group of Mountain View has released in recent hours, including, perhaps the most important concerns is the Transit Navigation feature, which promises to be very useful for those who are forced to use public transport in foreign cities or where the streets are poorly understood.

Google Maps 5.7 for Android introduces the possibility of using Transit Navigation (in beta) to find, after setting the goal to reach, its position using GPS when using public transport, in order to receive a notice when you are in the vicinity of the bus stop where down.

Service coverage includes information on public transport for more than 19 billion miles of roads of more than 400 cities worldwide, including some of the main Italian cities. In addition, the new release have been changed and made more simple functionality for navigation, such as the ability to access directly Navigation with a single click or from within a page of Places.

I added a picture viewer for Google Places need to improve the enjoyment of millions of photos added to the service last October, but can not pass unnoticed by the work done on search tips, including the introduction of different icons for each category with the goal of making smoother and more efficient search terms you want.
